Our motorcycle instructors will immediately introduce you to motorcycle culture. Before you know it, you’ll be confidently getting on your new motorcycle at Osseforth and making your dream a reality. You’ll go beyond the safety of the training site where you’ve learned to control your vehicle and get out on the road!
Experience that feeling you’ve dreamt of: miles of road stretching ahead of you waiting to be explored. As you savour the sound of the motor and the awe-inspiring view from your motorcycle, your instructor will give you some final pointers and tips. Then, it’s time to complete your training and show what you can do during your final exam. You’ll finally be ready to head out onto the road by yourself with your newly-earned motorcycle licence.

Please note! As of 1 May, you must wear an approved pair of motorcycle trousers when taking your motorcycle driving test. A normal pair of jeans is no longer permitted.
These trousers are not required during the first lessons and the start of your training.

Motorcycle theory
Your motorcycle training at Osseforth consists of a theory test and two practical sections. You may only take the practical test once you have passed the theory test. The theory test shows that you know the traffic rules and have the required insight to get out on the road. We ensure that you are well-prepared by providing theory materials so you can master this as quickly as possible.

Schedule your theory test on time
Contact Osseforth Opleidingen Sittard-Geleen or email elsloo@osseforth.nl with “Schedule motorcycle theory test” in the subject line. Remember that you must be at least 17 years of age to take the theory test.
Vehicle information
For your lessons at Osseforth, you will be riding our top-of-the-line Yamaha MT-07 motorcycles.
This so-called ‘naked bike’ is not only great to look at but also wonderful to drive.
These motorcycles are manoeuvrable yet stable, with enough power to put a smile on every student’s face!
Now you’ve got your motorcycle driving licence! What’s next?
After you get your licence, do you immediately go out and buy a motorcycle? Will you ride frequently or only occasionally? Or did you get your motorcycle licence years ago, and are you looking to get back in the saddle? Would you like to improve your motorcycle control? Or would you like to head into the Eifel, Ardennes or Alps with greater confidence? Osseforth has various options to help you improve your skills in a fun, educational and worthwhile way. You will be riding in groups with a maximum of five people and a WRM-certified instructor.
Race through bends with confidence with the Eifel bend training!
You have earned your motorcycle licence at Osseforth, and no matter how many miles you have under your belt, it’s always a good idea to keep up and hone your motorcycle riding skills. In fact, it’s essential!
We depart from the Osseforth Heerlen location. The maximum group size per instructor is five people, so everyone can practice turns, positioning, assessment technique, and posture as well as receive personal attention. We head out to find the best bends and enjoy the amazing views along the way!
This is what the day looks like:
- Reception with coffee, tea, and Limburg vlaai at the Osseforth Opleiding Heerlen location.
- Practical-based theory that you can immediately put to good use in the Eifel, Ardennes, etc.
- A few practical motorcycle control exercises at the training site.
- And then via Aachen to the Eifel region!
- Accompanied by WRM-certified instructor(s).
- Lunch at the famous Biker Ranch (at your own expense)
- Start 09:00 – finish 17:00
- The route is about 160 km

Result: a fun, educational day on the road so you can enjoy your favourite hobby with more self-confidence, improved skills and lots of practice!

This training is a balanced mix of practical, targeted motorcycle theory, motorcycle control, skill development and guided exercises on a closed training site so you can concentrate on your motorcycle without worrying about the rest. The instructors give demos, and you are given personal feedback during the exercises. The exercises show you areas of improvement so you can work on them immediately. We ensure you enjoy the proper balance between learning and being challenged!
We have two locations available: the Osseforth training sites in Elsloo and Heerlen. After your training day, you’ll get back on the road with more confidence and enjoyment! A fun activity to do with your motorcycle friends or club.
During this training, we head down to Luxembourg, to the area that’s also known as ‘little Switzerland’.
Over three days, you’ll receive intensive instruction, personal tips and feedback, and an in-depth look at bend technique, assessment technique, and road positioning to help you familiarise yourself with your motorcycle and driving in the mountains. Regular stops are made along the way, while personal feedback and instruction ensure that you can internalise the new techniques so that you be able to drive faster, safer, more attentively and with greater enjoyment, even in the most challenging situations.
We will stay the night at a welcoming and motorcycle-friendly location.
Refresher course for motorcycle licence holders
Starting location: Osseforth Heerlen or Osseforth Elsloo
A motorcycle instructor will accompany you on these day trips.
This is what the day looks like:
- Reception with coffee and tea and Limburg vlaai;
- Practical-based theory that you can immediately put to good use;
- A few practical motorcycle control exercises at the training site;
- A WRM-certified instructor will accompany you on your trip through the beautiful South Limburg region;
- Delicious lunch;
- Start 09:00 – finish 17:00
During this accompanied day trip, regular stops will be made to give tips and provide feedback. The maximum group size per instructor is five people, so everyone can practice bends, road positioning, assessment technique, and posture while savouring the Limburg landscape!
Result: a fun, educational day on the road so you’ll be able to enjoy your hobby safely and with more self-confidence.
